Global Gaming Awards 2015 Winners & Runners Up
This years' Global Gaming Awards took place once again at the Venetian Palazzo Congress Center, Las Vegas, on Monday 28th September, 2015. A panel of 50 expert judges presided over the event and voting was independently adjudicated by KPMG Gibraltar. Awards were handed out for 12 categories and voting officially opened on August 4th, 2015.
The Land Based Operator of the Year award went to MGM Resorts International and the Runner Up in this category was Borgata. The Digital Operator of the Year award went to Bet365, beating Runner Up PokerStars. S3000, IGT, won the Casino Product of the Year award and the Runner Up in this category was Blade s32, Scientific Games. Thanks to an online slot machine called Jurassic Park, Microgaming won the Digital Product of the Year award for the second year running. The Runner up on this category was Playtech for Campaign Manager.
Microgaming also won the Digital Gaming Innovation award for its forward thinking work in Virtual Reality and Wearable Technology. “We are so proud to win not one but two awards at this highly prestigious and credible award ceremony! Jurassic Park™ is an incredible game and the fact that the experience is just as impressive on mobile as it is online really does blow people away,” said the Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever.

The Digital Acquisition Program of the Year award went to Income Access and the Runner Up in this category was Paddy Power. The Customer Loyalty Program of the Year award went to MLife, MGM Resorts International and the Runner Up in this category was PokerStars VIP Club, PokerStars. The Land-Based Industry Supplier of the Year award went to Scientific Games and the Runner Up in this category was Aristocrat.
The Digital Industry Supplier of the Year award went to NetEnt. The Runner Up in this category was Playtech. The Land-Based Gaming Innovation of the Year award went to Powerbucks, IGT and the Runner Up in this category was Take ‘n Play, Scientific Games. As mentioned, Microgaming won the Digital Gaming Innovation of the Year award for VR Roulette and the Runner Up in this category was The Spin Lab, NYX Gaming Group.
The winner of the Responsible Business of the Year award went to MGM Resorts International and the Runner Up in this category was Unibet. Finally, the winner of the Latin America Executive of the Year award went to Ricardo Regner, Scientific Games. There was no Runner Up for this category.
