Creators of the winning Wheel of Fortune game International Gaming Technology (IGT) visited the casino to verify the win. Furthermore, Kane said the man asked not to be identified and that he was very surprised by the win. “I think he was a little bit overwhelmed and surprised. He made a statement that it couldn’t have come at a better time.” The player went on further to state that he really needed the money at this time.

The Wheel of Fortune slot game is a wide-area progressive slot. While this win is the largest ever win at the Nez Perce Tribe’s casino, there have been other big wins. Kane said there was a $230,000 jackpot win in the casino’s early days while it was still in a tent; a $67,000 win three to four years ago; a $44,000 win last year; and a $23,000 win a few months ago. “[T]his one is by far the biggest we’ve ever seen,” he said.
