A Tony Luke’s Cheesesteak restaurant will soon be added to Mohegan Sun Pocono in Plains as part of the renovations at the food court. Tony Luke’s is currently located in Philadelphia and New York. Now Mohegan Sun Pocono will have a taste of some Philly food. The Casino confirmed on Tuesday that the additions are underway.Anthony Carlucci, the CEO of Mohegan Sun Pocono, told the media that they were thrilled to add Tony Luke’s to the Mohegan Sun Family. He was pretty sure that the cheesesteak franchise would add value to the already fantastic dining options. Carlucci also said that the Mohegan Sun Pocono family is delighted to be the first USA Casino to have a Tony Luke’s in Northeast PA.The Tony Luke’s restaurant at Mohegan Sun Pocono is part of an expansion plan that the cheesesteak chain launched at the beginning of the year. Seven new locations in the United States were announced. The addition of a Tony Luke’s at Mohegan Sun Pocono has formed part of the renovations at the food court that the casinos have planned.

Tony Luke’s Addition Being Built in Mid-November

The renovations of the food court at the Mohegan Sun Pocono are planned to be underway mid-November. Tony Luke’s will bring the dining options available at the Casino to 12. These include the Pearl Sushi Bar, the Rustic Bistro & Bar, Molly O’Sheas Pub & Eatery, the Bar Louie and many others.

Carlucci further stated to the media that Tony Luke’s would be the most popular stop for customers because the Casino is redesigning the food court to have a Philly and NYC look and feel.
